\u201cLa gente no es que no quiera volver a la oficina, no quiere volver con sus jefes\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Como suele suceder con estas frases que se repiten una y otra vez, la primera es una de las m\u00e1s escuchadas en el mundo de la gesti\u00f3n de personas. Aunque de \u201cpadre\u201d desconocido, pudiera pertenecer a Tom Peters, Daniel Goleman o Peter F. Drucker. Seguro que entre estos 3, acertamos. Pero la segunda, si no es que alguien me avanz\u00f3, es m\u00eda.<\/p>\n
Hace unos d\u00edas estaba con el periodista @Pere Bosch charlando sobre una de los temas de m\u00e1s rabiosa actualidad: el teletrabajo. Si hab\u00eda llegado para quedarse, si volver\u00edamos a la oficina tras la pandemia, si nos quedar\u00edamos en casa, si ser\u00eda h\u00edbrido… Hay tantas versiones como empresas y percepciones existen, as\u00ed que veamos lo que dicen las cifras.<\/p>\n
La \u00faltima encuesta de\u00a0Gallup<\/strong>\u00a0en Estados Unidos lo deja claro:<\/p>\n
\u201cEl trabajo remoto persiste y tiende a ser permanente\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
El\u00a045%\u00a0<\/strong>de los trabajadores siguen teletrabajando. Ah\u00ed s\u00ed que parece haber llegado el teletrabajo para quedarse, aunque esto no aplica en todo el mundo, como en Espa\u00f1a donde, seg\u00fan se desprende del estudio ‘Condiciones de trabajo y salud tras un a\u00f1o de pandemia’, elaborada por Istas-CCOO y la Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona,\u00a0el teletrabajo ha descendido pr\u00e1cticamente a la mitad en comparaci\u00f3n con el de 2020<\/strong>, hasta un 17,2.<\/p>\n
As\u00ed que, aqu\u00ed todos de vuelta a la oficina. Sin embargo, los trabajadores se resisten a ello. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? All\u00e1 va mi hip\u00f3tesis, no sin antes remontarme a mis a\u00f1os de Universidad cuando estaba realizando mis estudios de doctorado en la Facultad de Medicina.<\/p>\n
Cuando me estaba preguntando por qu\u00e9 los trabajadores no quieren volver, de pronto me vino a la cabeza una de las clases m\u00e1s interesantes sobre las denominadas\u00a0\u201cconductas de evitaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0Este tipo de conductas se caracterizan por evitar a toda costa el contacto con una situaci\u00f3n-problema. Hasta ah\u00ed, todo normal. \u00bfQui\u00e9n no intenta evitar aquello que le disgusta? La patolog\u00eda aparece cuando estar en contacto con dicha situaci\u00f3n causa\u00a0inseguridad e incluso ansiedad<\/strong>\u00a0llegando a ser ambas invalidantes. \u00bfQui\u00e9n no ha sentido esto ante un jefe o compa\u00f1er@ t\u00f3xic@?\u00a0As\u00ed , muchos trabajadores quiz\u00e1s volver\u00edan a la oficina si no fuera porque cuando lo hagan tendr\u00e1n que volver a sufrir de nuevo las consecuencias de trabajar con ellos.<\/p>\n
Con la llegada del lockdown tuvimos que encerrarnos y trabajar desde casa. De pronto, algunos ya no deb\u00edan soportar por m\u00e1s tiempo a sus jefes o compa\u00f1er@s t\u00f3xic@s. La pandemia fue para ellos como agua de mayo.\u00a0Pero ahora hay que volver a la oficina y algunos est\u00e1n decididos a\u00a0dejar sus puestos de trabajo<\/strong>\u00a0si hay que volver (ya sabemos de algun@s)<\/p>\n
Y es que, por algo ser\u00e1 que, a finales de junio de 2019, casualmente tan s\u00f3lo unos meses antes de que estallara la pandemia, la OMS anunci\u00f3 que el burnout, una de entre tantas cosas que nos causan esta tipolog\u00eda de jefes y compa\u00f1er@s, se reconocer\u00eda como enfermedad profesional.<\/p>\n
